BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH, AUGUST 21, FREE CAR WASH, AND COMMUNITY SUNDAY
As a further way to express love to and present Christ to our community, we will be holding a series of events in August and September.  Friday, August 21, will be the Back-to-School Bash, with presentation by illusionist, Brent Myers.  This will be promoted with fliers to the community.  A free car wash will follow.  Then the culmination will be Sunday, September 13, when we specially invite our neighbors to a community day at church where we gear up to really make these guests feel welcome. Help is needed to coordinate the "Bash" and the car wash.  If you could help, please contact Pastor Phil.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Chambersburg Project still needs adults who are willing to be Crew Leaders.  You do not have to stay at the school; just manage the work site during the day.  Please consider giving a day, two days, or the whole week to helping with this community service project.  Contact Anna Mae Burkholder if you want more details.  The dates for Chambersburg Project are July 12-17, 2009.
