SPRING 2009 DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES

Tools for Discipling Others People are coming to Christ. They need to know what it means to live as a follower of Christ. Would you know how to guide them? Where to start? What's most important? This class will prepare you to guide others AND, in the process, it will challenge you in your own journey into Christ-likeness. This class will prepare you to guide others toward Christian maturity AND, since being a discipler means leading the way, it will challenge you to take inventory of your own journey into Christ-likness. This class will begin January 14.
The Master Plan of Evangelism We will discuss Dr. Robert Coleman's classic work on the way the Lord Jesus went about making a new generation of leaders who will be able to help others come to know Him. The classes will last eight weeks, unless we get caught up in discussion and have to add a week or two. Dr. Coleman's book forces us to think about why intentional discipleship is so important, and that it is very often neglected in our churches. You will enjoy talking about the major themes of this great work. This class will begin on February 4. Register below for the classes. |
