Clarification: The date of the CHURCH AUCTION is Thursday evening, October 16th. The date of the FALL FESTIVAL is Saturday, October 18th. (Early in the year we had tentatively scheduled these events in September.)

Yesterday during the services in the Worship Center, Pastor Bill shared how he received this T-shirt as a gift from someone in the congregation. (Verses 22 and 23 are written on the back.)
Have you "got fruit"? That is, do you have the fruit of the Holy Spirit evident in your life? For the past several weeks we've been looking at these nine characteristics listed in Galatians 5, and talking about how we should be changing and growing in these nine areas.
Yesterday we concluded the series by looking at Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. You can watch, listen to or read yesterday's message by clicking here.
Here are some key statements from yesterday's message:
"The only way the fruit of faithfulness will be evident in your life and increasing in your life is if you trust Jesus and follow through with actions based on that trust."
"There are many trust issues besides finances, but the expression 'putting your money where your mouth is' certainly serves as a good indicator of how much change and growth has occurred in our lives, and how much change and growth still needs to occur."
"There are times when you encounter people who learn things slower than you. You are the strong one so to speak. Can you also be the gentle one?"
"As you look back over the past few years of your life, can you see any areas of your life where God's Spirit has helped you take control of certain area that used to master you?"
"A lack of self-control in the lives of Believers keeps many from experiencing a close and intimate relationship with Jesus."
Notes:
This coming Sunday we will be hosting Pastor Steve Schellin, who will be our speaker for our Revival and Renewal Services that run Sunday through Wednesday.
