Tuesday, September 23rd

Jay Smith (pictured here in London) will be one of the speakers at Five Forks on the weekend of October 11th and 12th.
Every year our church sets aside a Sunday to emphasize missions and increase our awareness of what is happening beyond our local communities. Every year we have guest speakers come and share their stories...last year's speakers were just outstanding and those who attended those services called it the best "mission's weekend" we've ever had.
We're looking forward to what is in store for us this year, as once again our Mission's Committee is bringing in speakers who are internationally known for their service to the Lord.
Here is some important information to keep in mind:
This year's theme: "World Evangelism in our Generation"
This year's verse: Mark 16:15 "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all Creation."
Saturday evening, October 11th
6:00pm to 7:15pm in the Worship Center - Music by the Senior High Youth Band, Barb Harbaugh and some children from Five Forks. Our speaker will be Jay Smith (a missionary to the Muslim world in London). At the same time, Doug Whitley will have a program for the children in the church basement. Punch and cookies will be served after the service.
Sunday morning, October 12th
Worship Center Services (8:00, 9:30 and 11:00) - Special guest speaker
Chapel Services (8:00 and 11:00) - Mr. Ed McManness - Administrator for the "Immerge Program" in Lancaster, Pa.
9:30 in the Chapel - Jay Smith will speak to adults and youth.
Don't think that there is nothing here for you during this special weekend. Those who missed last year's services missed out on some truly outstanding presentations that challenged and informed those who were there. Come and be encouraged by what Jesus is doing in places other than Franklin County.
