Over the past 20 years the Lord has seen fit to grow this congregation from a small rural church of approximately 150 members to a church that averages close to 900 people every Sunday.
We are interested in more than numerical growth however. We have a strong desire to grow spiritually, and experience an ever deepening relationship with Jesus, our Lord and our Savior.
We are located in South Central Pennsylvania (Franklin County), easily accessible from Waynesboro, Chambersburg, Greencastle, Shippensburg and Hagerstown.
OUR PURPOSE:
TO GLORIFY GOD BY...
- Exalting Him through praise and worship.
- Encouraging one another.
- Equipping Christians for service.
- Evangelizing our community and world.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON SUNDAY MORNINGS:
- A Worship Service, Sunday School, or Children's Church during all 3 hours (8:00...9:30...11:00). Your children may stay with you or attend a class for their age group. The choice is yours.
- A well-staffed nursery for babies and toddlers. We provide paging so Moms and Dads can be reached in case of a special need.
- Helpful and practical Bible teaching. The sermons are challenging, yet easy to understand as we look to apply God's Word to our daily lives.
- Good music in all 6 services. Traditional hymns in the Chapel at 8:00 and 11:00. Contemporary music in the Worship Center at 8:00...9:30...11:00. One of our Youth Bands provides praise and worship for their 11:00 service.
- People dressed in a variety of styles from T-shirts and blue jeans to suits and dresses.
- An offering is taken during the service but we do not expect our guests to give.
- People worshipping in a variety of ways. Some sit, many stand during the time of praise and worship. Some may clap or raise their hands as they worship.
