At Walkersville Brethren in Christ Church (WBIC) we try to be “relational” rather than “religious.” It may surprise you to discover that Jesus didn’t come into the world to bring us a new religion, but to restore us to a relationship with God. We are a group of people who have come to recognize that fulfillment in life is found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and we invite you to experience Him with us.

Our Purpose is to bring people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and membership in his family, nurture them to maturity in Christ, and equip them for their ministry in the church and mission in the world, to the end that Christ is magnified.
