The Board of Directors
Roxbury's Board of Directors consists of no fewer than 16 persons including representatives from each conference. Officers include the President, Ben Musser; Vice President, John Keefer; Treasurer, Charles Lehman; and Secretary, Edie Asbury. The Camp Meeting director, John Hawbaker, is also a member of the board. The Camp Administrator, Ray Heisey, is a non-voting member of the board as is the Director of Development and Public Relations, Anita McIlveen. Other members are considered members-at-large.
Duties of the Board of Directors include: establishing over-all policy for the total operation of the camp; establishing an annual budget for normal camp operation; insuring adequate promotion of the camp, its facilities and its activities; and overseeing long-range planning for appropriate programming and facilities.
The work of the board is carried out by meeting twice a year with various sub-committees meeting between full board meetings. The officers make up the Executive Committee and meet whenever necessary to take care of business between meetings.
The Property Management Committee (PMC) consists of a minimum of seven persons chosen from the Board of Directors and is responsible for custodial needs of the property. Working closely with the Administrator, the PMC works to maintain the facilities and grounds. The PMC handles insurance, leases, rentals and sales. Troy Sims is Chair, Phil Varner is Assistant Chair and the secretary is Daryl Thrush. Also serving on this board are Jim Sollenberger, Sally Weller, and Daryl Thrush.
The Camp Meeting Commission is an integral part of the workings of the camp and includes the Director, John Hawbaker; Assistant Directors, John Fickett and John Geib; Program Director, Liz Heisy; and Secretary, Jaylene Shannon. Also serving are Jaylene Shannon, Bob Stroman, Arthur Wenger, Anita McIlveen, Rahn Keefer, Mick steckbeck, Diane and Dallas Wolgemuth. The commission’s one big task is to plan and manage the annual camp meeting. This includes speakers, musicians, programming, budget, and the various needs of the camp meeting such food and lodging. A Program Committee serves from within the commission to fine-tune the camp meeting program with speaker and musicians. Serving are John Hawbaker, John Fickett, Liz Heisey, and Anita McIlveen.
There are several standing committees which consist of members of the Board of Directors.
Long Range Planning Committee:

This committee prepares an annual financial statement and a budget for all operational and capital accounts, as well as setting rental rates.
Audio Visual Committee:
This committee consists of no fewer than six persons (not necessarily board members) who provide for and maintain adequate audiovisual systems to meet the needs of the camp. Those serving: Ron Etzweiler, chair; Steve Shetterly, asst chair; Paul Markel, Edna Etzweiler, Shawn Spear, Ron Shannon.
Special Events Committee:

- Other members - Leroy Kipe, Kathy Coy, Bob Tengler and Laveena Sollenberger
This committee works along with the Director of Development and Public Relations to plan the special programs of the camp such as Senior Day, Ladies Retreat, Couples Retreat and Singles Retreat.
The men and women who serve on the Board of Directors are dedicated to the work of Roxbury Camp and give liberally of their time and talents to serve on both the board and various committees. Their time invested in the work of Roxbury Camp is valuable and greatly appreciated. These people volunteer in these administrative roles because they believe in Roxbury Camp’s ministry and see “kingdom work” being accomplished.
