"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your
strength...'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is
no commandment greater than these."

POSSIBLE - Redland Valley Church Impacts
St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana
On June 25th
Redland
Valley
Church
sent 42 people from south-central
Pennsylvania
to
New Orleans.
Along with
a bus full of people they also delivered
a 26’ truck filled with supplies to this
flood-ravaged area.
The damage remaining in Saint Bernard’s
Parish even two years after Hurricane
Katrina amazed the 25 teens and 17
adults involved in the trip.
They spent
their time tearing out moldy sheetrock,
serving at a soup kitchen and helping
with other important needs.
Youth Pastor Dale Lance spearheaded the
trip along with the volunteer youth
ministry staff.
They
returned on July 2 sharing stories of
God’s faithfulness and goodness.
The youth
made everyone proud with their hard work
and great attitudes throughout the trip.
Donations of funds and materials from
individuals completely funded the trip.
Thank you
everyone who made the tremendous trip
possible, and kudos to Dale Lance and
all the other leaders for their hard
work, faith and faithfulness.
Praise God for the
many ways He proved faithful throughout!

Watch part of the
"Got It" game |
| One
fun youth group activity has
been the "Got It" game at
Christmas and Easter. Much like
bible quizzing the game combines
knowledge, speed, agility and
even has elements of a scavenger
hunt. Students are kept busy
"cramming" for the big game by
completing a 50 question
worksheet using their bibles to
locate answers with each
scripture reference. Our
students have learned more about
the events of Jesus' birth,
death and resurrection while
competing in this fast-paced
game of knowledge. Who knew
learning could be this much fun! |
